  I have completed both the Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards and I am currently working on my Gold Award. This requires me to complete at least 1 hour a week of a skill, physical activity and service for 12 months. It also requires that I complete an adventurous journey and a residential course such as Outward Bound or Spirit of Adventure.   GirlBoss Edge: Engineering & Technology Edition is a highly selective leadership accelerator programme for high school aged young women. Through this 10 day programme, I underwent high-level leadership training and received transformative mentoring from New Zealand's leading industry professionals. I worked in collaboration with companies such as InternetNZ, Xero, Orion & Connetics to solve real world problems through the 'Engineering Challenge'. Through this incredible, life-changing, experience I have been motivated and energised to continue to create change and innovate in the fields of engineering and technology.
