Joel and I worked together at Associated Materials. Joel was part of our leadership team in our Ennis, Tx facility. This plant was one of the most difficult locations to help lead that I've seen in my career and Joel seemed to bring some calm to the storm we continued to have here. Joel works well with all levels of the organization and also understands how to take financial targets and interpret those targets on the shop floor. He has an extremely good work ethic and knows how to drive business improvements. I'm pleased to see others have seen the same performance with his increase in roles and responsibilities. Joel is a great addition to any organization, and is especially talented in difficult operating situations.

Joel and I worked together as part of the management team of a manufacturing company with 300+ employees. His role was to manage both our supply chain and logistics. He supervised the sourcing team and ensured the company had ample and quality raw materials and components. His work to save costs and make suppliers accountable ensure profitability increased and our bottom line remained strong. The logistics department was underperforming when he took over management of this department. Under his guidance he put in place objectives for employees to meet each week as well as worked to improve the service we received from our logistics partners. He saved money by finding better freight carriers who were willing to work closely with Joel's shipping team to improve efficiency and save costs. I highly recommend Joel as a manager and important contributor to any successful organization. He's a gentleman, hard-working, high integrity and easy to interact with.
