Packaging Machine Operator Responsibilities: -Operate complicated packaging machinery in a food safe environment. -Maintain packaging machinery to a high food safe standard, resulting in frequent cleaning and raising possible food safety issues. -The ability to independently problem solve issues and identify products that do not meet quality or performance standards. -Achieve scheduled quotas in set time frames from each individual packing machines. -Comply with the company’s quality systems in production, sanitation and HACCP. -Work effectively in a large team, as well as working independently. -Plan and assign tasks for Elevated Work Platforms(EWP) that include strict safety and quality procedures. -Ensure timely planning and execution of weekend overtime assignments. Including EWP, Quality Holds, Contractor Liason and Equipment Cleaning As well as my responsibilities as a Packaging Machine Operator, I now am responsible for the following as a Sortation Controller -Use of Wonderware Software effectively to accurately and efficiently achieve production targets. -Prepare, organize and manage a complex palletising system comprising of automation robots, Automated Guided Vehicles(AGV), forklifts, wrappers, conveyors and pallet labeling systems. -Work with Production Managers, Supply Managers and Distribution Center managers, to prioritize customers orders, to achieve on time delivery of high demand stock for maximum customer satisfaction. -Work with Computer Systems Engineers to constantly improve the operations systems in order to streamline the Automation processes, through faster more efficient Automation.
