Joel has provided RTU programming services to Gippsland Water on multiple projects. This work has included writing functional control specifications, RTU programming, factory acceptance testing, site testing and commissioning. The projects have included sewer pump stations, treated water pump stations, inlet works and chemical dosing and storage. Joel communicates well, is punctual and easy to work with, and shows good attention to detail.

Harley Donkers

My name is Harley Donkers and I'm the Senior Testing Officer at Australian Compliance Laboratory. ACL is an independent test laboratory and we mechanically test all types of packaging and products. Late in 2019 we designed a unique machine for pressure testing containers. The system was mechanically and electronically complex, and it incorporated multiple PID loops, a proportional regulator, data logging, and the capacity to pressurise containers with both air and water. Joel was the lead programmer and point of contact for us. He completed the machine to an excellent standard, managed our expectations throughout the project, communicated transparently, gave us leeway when we wanted to be more involved, and followed up to ensure we were happy with the machine's performance. We have since continued working with Joel to build more laboratory equipment. This includes a data logging system on a universal tester, and the development of an automated, large scale, 20T factory press for crush testing unit loads and miscellaneous products. I highly recommend Joel as an excellent programmer, expert electrical engineer, and an industry professional. He is easy to work with and is clearly very passionate about what he does. Joel has the confidence to take on projects and give useful advice. He is also humble enough to bring other experts/opinions into discussions when he thinks that they may be useful. I'm happy to continue working with Joel into the future, and intend to do so. If anyone requires more information about Joel and the work that we've done together, then please don't hesitate to get in contact with me.
