Lars Håhus
Joel worked as an art intern at Paradox South early 2013. He really got to try a lot of different things out as he got involved in a total of 4 games during his time with us. Joel delivered to expectations for each new task and had a technical talent that I hope he will develop further in the future. Most of his internship was focused on an expansion for 'the showdown effect' where Joel quickly assumed the role of particle, physics and interactable prop guy. Joel did a great job at this and could with a reasonable amount of feedback contribute with some awesome stuff that made the levels pop. Joel is a funny, productive and technical guy who can be an asset to any team.

Currently working my dream with some amazingly talented people, building an education from the ground up, laying the foundation for making the north in to the next big powerhouse of the gaming industry. Daily task include creating courses, planing, scheduling, administration of platforms and students as well as the day to day life of being a teacher and to keep up with a constantly evolving field of technology.

Working in education have been something I've fallen back to multiple times during my career and is something I truly enjoy, over the years it have become my favorite thing to do. Currently teaching and developing courses with online vendors and Universities/adult education in Marketing, 2D and 3D graphics, photo editing and much more with my own company. Before my current role I worked at The Game Assembly which planed on starting up a new school in Umeå, the plans got postponed due to lack of programing teachers in the other fields of education. I worked as a teacher in the field of Game art/3D/texturering/rigging and what not. My primary job function included creating / updating preexisting courses and go through applications and portfolios from students. Show less
