I support projects as a lead project engineer that creates and oversees budgets, project estimates, and resource scheduling. I provide final quality assurance checks for substation designs before final submittal for construction. I lead engineering proposal work. I supervisor a group of engineers. I work hard to provide valuable training and quality mentorship to other professionals.From 2012-2013 I took a one year assignment in our Bangkok, Thailand office. In Bangkok I lead a design team on a full engineering, procurement, and construction project while coordinating efforts with our Beijing, China office. Working with internal and external clients in Thailand, China, Japan and Indonesia gave me a new perspective for global business and cultures. I returned to the Denver, CO office in October 2013. In 2009 I started and lead a Sustainability Team for our office. This responsibility included defining the mission statement of this group, building a team, leading meetings, and setting up events for the office. The events included educating the office on sustainability, environmental stewardship, community outreach, and internal professional support. While in the Bangkok, Thailand office I participated and supported Toastmasters. In this organization I offered my knowledge of the English language to help build the language skills of my fellow professionals. Show less
