Working as the private tutor for saxophone and clarinet students from years 7 - 12 working toward AMEB exams and a broader educational experience including aural skills, theory and improvisation. Also on the Grade 6 band team which involves 2 periods a week of the curriculum band program. The first period is broken into instrumental sectionals and the other is a collaborative band session. In my role I lead the saxophone section in group sessions. Most of the students are new to music, so we start from the basics and the students all learn together. In the main band session, my role sees me roaming and helping individual students or running warm ups and other leadership roles. Show less

Genesis Saxophone Quartet is a chamber ensemble that seeks to introduce classical saxophone to a new audience and gives a platform for local composers to premiere their new works. We played to open the 100SAX! program at the 2019 Melbourne International Saxophone Festival and assisted within the 100SAX! program, premiered new works from Australian and international composers and collaborated with a variety of Australian artists. The quartet has premiered 'Jump,' which won the 2018 Composition Competition at the Singapore Saxophone Symposium and also premiered music as a part of the New Stage initiative. I play the soprano saxophone in the ensemble and each member has a shared responsibility regarding repertoire selection, concert organisation and general ensemble management Show less
