Joe is a hard worker who picks up scientific laboratory tasks quickly and easily. He also understands the importance of properly documenting everything in an FDA regulated environment. With a few years of experience and coaching in the appropriate high-level interpersonal skills, I really think Joe would make an excellent supervisor. He's already a great QC Analyst. It was only harsh financial necessity that forced me to let him go. If we suddenly got a windfall, I would definitely try to hire him back immediately.
