  I have been at Blackrock for six years and during this time have managed the FX, Money Markets, Equity and Fixed Income teams within Operations. I have also been heavily involved in projects, most notably the Merrill Lynch and Bank of New York to BlackRock migrations. As you would imagine, such undertakings meant a high degree of organisation, and collusion with both internal and external counterparties to ensure stream lined processes ensued with minimal cost and market risk. My input into the implementation of CLS has helped save the company 250 genuine claims a month. During my time at Blackrock I have built up many good relationships internally and externally. I regularly dealt with Relationship Managers, holding quarterly broker meetings regarding MIS and various projects. I was rewarded with a double promotion for my part in the Merrill Lynch take over where I managed system implementation on two teams. Show less
