    • Principal
      • Jan. 2018 - –Heute

In four years as Principal I have led the implementation of a Strategic Plan that has increased enrolments by 22% (6.6% in 2021/22) and market share in a highly competitive regional area on the back of a period of enrolment decline. Our financial strategy has lifted a sub-par EBIDA to well above accepted benchmarks, increased our Asset Sustainability Ratio to improve facilities (including a $9.5m capital build), and enabled value add through a range of educational initiatives, all while keeping fee increases below average wage growth. NAPLAN results are consistently above National Averages and in Sep 2021, the Courier Mail announced that FCAC was the best performing school in the region (NAPLAN and ATAR). In 2022, FCAC took out the title of Australia's Best Regional School at the Australian Education Awards.

    • Deputy Principal (P-12) - Teaching and Learning
      • Jan. 2016 - Dez. 2017

Leading the College’s Strategic Direction in regards to Teaching and Learning (P-12) through the creation of collaborative project groups centred around the development of a Strategic Data Plan, Teaching and Learning Framework, Learning Management System and Appraisal Framework. The development of a Professional Learning Community has provided teachers with the opportunity to work collaboratively to improve pedagogical practice and student outcomes. In 2017, FCAC (a regional school) was ranked 19th in Queensland for OP scores 1-5 and continues to produce strong NAPLAN results. Our Edge program received the 2017 ACEL 'Educational Futures' Award.

    • Head of Junior School
      • Jan. 2012 - Dez. 2015

Progressed the Junior School’s approach to Teaching and Learning to align with the vision of the College’s Strategic Plan of a modern, data informed curriculum based in research, by providing instructional and transformational leadership to staff and students. This resulted in strong academic outcomes for students in literacy, numeracy and NAPLAN and, in turn, these results contributed to the College being listed as Queensland’s No. 1 Regional School by ‘The Australian’ (20/6/15). During this period, enrolments increased from 280 to 370 in a highly competitive market, and resulted in the creation of waiting lists and ‘Excellent’ overall ratings in the 2014 Parent Survey.

    • Deputy Head of Middle School
      • Jan. 2008 - Dez. 2011

      • Developed rich, cross-curricular assessment tasks and introduced modern teaching pedagogies by bringing Middle School staff from various Departments together to collaborate on rich learning projects designed to increase student engagement and promote higher order thinking.• Created a consistent, clear pastoral structure for Middle School students through the implementation of proactive practices and the employment of relational leadership skills to provide positive outcomes for students and increase their engagement in learning programs.
