Thompson’s Jewelry is a family business that was built from the ground up, starting in a garage, and growing into a full commercial space. We offer our services locally and globally through an online presence. Role Responsibilities: Assisted in-store customers with their sales needs, ensuring that they received excellent service. Treated each customer with white-glove service and a deep understanding that most jewelry has sentimental value, and any mishandling could result in a highly personal way. Provided expert advice when customer’s required jewelry repair services, working one on one with them to walk through the entire repair process and what they should expect from the repair. Ensured they left confident that their jewelry was receiving the care and attention it needed. Partnered with customers looking for custom-made jewelry, helped bring their designs and ideas to life by creating a model or finding a picture that represented their idea. Maintained meticulous organization for customer’s jewelry and services needed. Having an online shop and local customers, orders must be carefully managed to avoid getting misplaced, which would result in lost jewelry and a significant customer disappointment. Managed the due dates on service tickets to ensure timelines being met and customers were notified when ready for pickup. I would always order service tickets by due dates, and whether the piece was completed or not. Customers are notified if they haven't picked their jewelry up by the due date. Show less
