Joe Van der Vechte was hired by myself as Facilities Manager at OslerBrook GCC when I was the General Manager of the club. I have always found Joe to be a very hard worker committed and loyal to the club, our Members and other staff. Whether a job was within Joe's job description or was outside of it, he never wavered in his commitment to getting the job done and it never ceased to amaze me how competent he was at so many things that went way beyond his scope of work. If we ever had a job that needed to get done, we went to Joe first and I can't remember that last time that request ever got turned down or failed to exceed all of our expectations.
