My goal is to develop creative risk management solutions for my clients, specializing in Employee Health Benefits and Commercial Insurance. I partner with CXO's, Presidents, and Owners on a daily basis to enhance their existing programs, or to develop new insurance programs. While finding the right insurance carrier for my clients is critical, I have found that there are many other ways to provide value for my clients. Between the emerging risks and constantly evolving insurance marketplace, it is crucial for the success of my clients, and myself, that I stay educated on new policies and regulations. Show less

    • Factory Summer Intern
      • May 2015 - Aug 2015

During this summer with A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. I was a first shift factory intern. I would do a variety of tasks on any given day. These tasks included machinist, part testing, shipping, receiving, fork truck operator, and part inspection. It was during this stint that I was able to see the manufacturing process come full-circle. It made me appreciate what blue-collar work ethic can do. Over my two summers at A.Y.'s I was able to see the manufacturing process from beginning to end. At A.Y.'s they have a company slogan, "We're not just a brand, we're family." My experience at A.Y.'s showed me that they hold themselves to this standard and it helped me improve myself as an individual. Show less

During this summer with A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. I was a second shift foundry intern. I would do a variety of tasks on any given day. These tasks included belt tending, part grinding, regrinding, and part inspection. My experience in the foundry gave me an experience that I can say with confidence very few, if any, of my peers can say they have. It opened my eyes to what true dedication and work ethic is all about. During this summer with A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. I was a second shift foundry intern. I greeted customers as they arrived in the store and gave them information our available product selection. I responded to customers complaints and resolved their issues. I took payments from customers in exchange for products. I memorized the location and prices of products for easy information transfer to customers. I answered and directed phone calls to the store.
