      I was employed as Senior R&D Engineer for Rheem Australia’s Solar R&D Department, the role included, New Product Design & Development, Project Manager, Product Maintenance and Certification, Quality Improvement and technical support. 1. Attend regular design meetings to support the development of the project objectives One of the products which I conceptualised, design developed and commercialized was a new solar collector panel encasement, using aluminium extrusion, steel, glass filled nylon and silicone grommet seals. The design is certified to meet Domestic and International Standards. The design is innovative in its function and has had five international design patents registered. Structural cyclonic mounting frames are another significant product range which I have developed, again using aluminium extrusions along with stainless steel fasteners, designed to meet AS/NZS1170.2 wind code requirements, suitable for installation into Australian wind region D areas. I was the R&D representative on the Quality Improvement Team for the full product range. I also work with the Quality Team to develop Product Quality Plans and PPAS validation process

      I was employed as Design Manager with SJW Facades Limited, which encompassed a multitude of roles including Design Office Manager, Project Co-ordinator and Procurement Officer. Work within the CAD Design team to detail and check drawings prior to issuing for construction. SJW Facades Limited operated as a sub-contractor or a main contractor providing complete design and build solutions. I was involved in the creation of a Research and Development department, which focused on new products and the use new materials, general innovation, product improvement, and the testing and appraisal of prototypes.
