This included setting up an internal cross selling agreement to help make current GS clients aware of the firm's capabilities and leading technology. This cross selling included both the GS Investment Banking, Research and J.Aron commodity trading and sales teams. Overall I was responsible for global commodity futures business development, sales and relationships – I was hired to help grow GS commodity futures relationships with focus on commercial and institutional clients. My successes included adding over 15 new clearing clients with 2015 RNOV of over $12mil. This new business included adding new energy markets such as EEX that the firm has previously not worked with. In addition I expanded the breath of commodity knowledge within the Futures group by hosting educational forums on commodity futures. I also helped educate the GS Risk team on specific commodity products and how to manage risk in these markets. I also worked with our GS Market Reg team to continually raise awareness within the GS Futures customer base on ongoing regulatory changes and the impact on their businesses. Show less
