  This position grew from a one-man IT operation into a multi-million dollar enterprise after 5 years. I assisted the team as a consultant, then was hired full-time when sales started to climb. I navigated and directed IT infrastructure needs of the company from $300,000K/yr in sales up to $50M/year. We started in a basement, then grew into multi 20,000sqft warehouses. We became a major sales and shipping operation for the sports Industry. We leveraged the low cost of Wordpress for e-Commerce (WooCommerce) to spawn multiple websites and sales channels. Keeping costs low helped us early on, and as we grew we navigated into ERP/MRP systems which were more complex and had tighter integration with shipping and inventory. I managed marketing until year 5 when we handed it over to an internal marketing team. Smash It was all about development, then backfilling to meet the demand. I was on a team that was writing a patent for a new golf training device. I bought a competitor and merged his business into ours. I handled many hats here. This was an amazing career opportunity and I love to talk about my time at Smash It.
