Working in the business and performance improvement team. I worked on a project that aimed to devise a new management information system for the Warships Business Unit. Aiming to reduce the amount of time spent writing report and concisely distribute key information to the correct people. This meant having regular meetings and communicating with senior management and summarising the findings into a report on the current state of the systems. I gained and appreciation and developed skills in change management, commercial awareness, effective communication, teamwork, Earned Value Management (EVM), report writing, analytical assessment and Microsoft Visio.
