As Lead Project Manager, I was responsible for developing and implementing our most critical processes and projects. Responsibilities included budget, scope, schedule, stakeholder communication, quality control, risk management and record-keeping for multiple concurrent projects. I provided project development and estimating services, as well as consulting on PDB's internal processes, strategic planning, marketing and personnel decisions.

  Cultivate Kansas City is “a locally-grown non-profit working to grow food, farms and communities for a healthy local food system”. Their flagship event is the Urban Grown Tour, a biennial, city-wide promotion of local farms and gardens. My work was a full-time temporary role in support of the 2011 Urban Grown event. I facilitated 1600+ volunteer hours at 38 urban agriculture sites throughout the KC Metro. Our 365 volunteers engaged over 2,000 members of the Kansas City community at these sites.

  The Sustainability Center envisions a culture of sustainability at the University of Idaho. They support student programs, university policy and local initiatives to enable sustainable action on campus and in the community. After a one year Americorps term, I was hired as Sustainability Assistant at the UI Sustainability Center (UISC). I managed $30,000 in budgets and three programs, while facilitating UISC's education, planning, marketing, mentoring, outreach, events, research, and administrative initiatives on a weekly basis.

  Bridging The Gap (BTG) works to make the Kansas City region sustainable by "connecting environment, economy and community"​. BTG's Green Events Program offers recycling infrastructure, education resources and planning tools to minimize waste at community gatherings and events. In 5 months, I facilitated a rapid expansion of the program’s resources, recycling five tons of material at 42 events, reaching more than 235,000 people throughout the Kansas City area. I also expanded and modernized the program’s event planning guide, website, and internal processes.
