  • Developed detailed methods for the assembly of the Mark 45 Ammunition hoist system (1200 assembled parts)• Developed weld procedure specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) per Mil-Std-248 to qualify welders for welding hoist ammunition assemblies• Develop outside suppliers for large machining of ammunition hoist parts• Setup a customer service team for onsite repair of hoist ammunition system aboard US Navy ships• Developed trouble shooting tools and procedures for rapid response for hoist repair and warranty issues• Team Leader for onsite hoist repair• Worked with an outside supplier to develop a PLC test stand for testing and validating complete hoist assembly. 500 cycle hoist load test and 200 dummy round load and unload test• Help develop a small lot shop using lean concepts including 5S to reduce manufacturing costs and lead time of hoist parts by 25% using work cells and lean concepts Show less
