As an engineer, I provide the bridge between our sales and order specialist teams, and manufacturing. Working with WoodCADCAM, our company can produce a nearly infinite number of cabinet configurations. I work with a team to continue improving and maintaining that system, as well as providing expertise as required for those in other departments. I've been taking a strong interest in woodworking since the spring of 2020. I've gradually built up an array of tools and used projects in my shop to build skills that I learn online. I really enjoy creating things with this hobby, and occasionally have made custom items for friends and family. I also hope to contribute back to the online woodworking community by creating woodworking plans that will help others on their journey to make things they can be proud of.The "business" is a small idea right now, but I hope that it will bring value to others as well as to my family. By stepping into a business realm, I'm hoping to not only continue to hone my craft, but learn what it takes to really make a business succeed.

I was hired with MT Systems with the intent of providing extra help for an impending workload. During my first few months, I worked with a number of other employees to learn the ins and outs of the company. Over time, I took on more lead roles in some of our projects from conception to installation. My experience working with drawings, documentation, design, and people at all levels played a key role in the success of some of our projects. I worked two separate internships at TKPD during the summers of 2009 and 2010. During the first summer, I worked with the quality lab technicians to supplement the existing staff, essentially adopting the role of a lab tech. During the second summer, the workload was more focused on the production lines, assisting mechanical and electrical technicians with troubleshooting lines. In addition, there were a few small design projects to introduce improvements to various processes in the plant. I worked two separate internships at TKPD during the summers of 2009 and 2010. I worked two internships at this location, also. The first was from April to August of '07, and the second was from June to August of '09. In both instances, I worked with the Sign Turn-On Technicians performing the steps between construction of the LED signs and shipping them, such as uploading software and testing components.
