Professor Kotowski was my Statics and Dynamics teacher at Oakton Community College. I will say he was one of (if not the best engineering professors) I've ever had the privilege of learning from. He went over relevant examples in homework that prepared us for exams and made it a fun experience rather than one that didn't enhance learning. He also wrote my letter of recommendation and gave me valuable information about how to do well in engineering. he wasn't only a teacher, he was a true mentor and role model for me and many others.

Professor Kotowski was my Statics and Dynamics teacher at Oakton. He made learning the materials fun and exciting by using technology such as designing and visualizing the actual problems in AutoCAD. His use of technology was incredibly up to dated and complete! Recording classes, online notes, online homework, AutoCAD and online examinations are among the various modern teaching techniques that he uses which makes the process of learning more exciting and accessible at all time. Beside his modern tools and skills, his passion for educating and preparing professional engineers was evident during each class session. He would give us real life examples from his experience during his time in the industry related to the topic we were learning and continuously reminding us that we will be future engineers. His relation with his students was very friendly and at the same time very professional. students, including myself would stay after the class time and talk to him about different topics, and he always showed interest in talking to students and gave them collage related advises and or telling them about on going or future projects.
