Responsible for production, reservoir and facilities engineering for operated and non-operated assets primarily located in the Delaware Basin, San Juan Basin, DJ Basin, Central Kansas, and Nebraska. Also coordinated all business development evaluations for all McElvain Energy entities and with land/legal coordination, closed 20+ transactions. Successfully reduced operated LOE 25% on mcfe basis in 2015 (first year of responsibility) and continued with additional 16% in reductions until final McElvain operations transferred at the end of 2019.

Responsible for all facets of production operations in PDC's Western Region (Piceance Basin, DJ Basin, North East Colorado, North Dakota Bakken, and Texas Barnett Shale). Western region accounted for ~85% of PDC's operated production and grew from ~80 MMCFDE to ~170 MMCFDE over this two-year period. Supervised production operations staff of ~65 company employees (5 direct reports) and two contract operated areas (ND & TX). Spent significant time in Russia assisting with integration of recently acquired assets into Hess portfolio.

District Engineer

Directly responsible for all facets of newly acquired operations in Central Kansas Uplift comprised of 400 historically neglected wells. Direct supervision of Field Operations Manager and Engineering Technician. Responsible for identifying and initiating capital projects, including infill drilling, waterflood development, application of new technologies, recompletions, and reactivations whereby activity led to 55% increase in production. Responsible for effectively managing operating expenses and achieved 45% reduction on per boe basis. Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and negotiating asset acquisitions.

Operations Engineer

Accountable for all operations on properties in Powder River Basin, Wyoming and San Joaquin Valley, California. Included developing, implementing and tracking production, expense and capital plans and preparing year-end reserve reports. Responsible for working and royalty interest owner relations, including AFE preparation, project updates, and dispute resolution. Main liaison between Merit and regulatory agencies, responsible for permitting new projects and compliance with rules and regulations. Analyzed and acquired additional working interest in Merit operated and offset properties. Negotiated contracts for marketing of products and land use/ easement purposes. Originated, implemented and supervised drilling, completion, wellwork, and facility installation activities.
