I worked with Joe over the entirety of my 17 years at Laserage Technologies, now Ametek/Laserage. Initially I was Joe's direct manager, during the time he was first a Laser Technician, and then as he earned his next role as a Product Engineer. As Joe was promoted into his Product Development Engineer role I was then a Senior Program Manager, at which point Joe was the lead engineer on several major medical component development programs that I chaired. Joe was the key engineering resource on these programs, that required Ametek/Laserage to produce FDA approved medical components that our global medical customer OEM base would launch as new medical devices. Joe has always demonstrated an intense level of detail in his work - that specifically required him to develop not only processes capable of producing these medical components, including various implants and delivery systems - but also the necessary tooling and fixturing to support all of this. This entailed developing processes and tooling at the proof of concept / prototype level all the way through to high volume production of these medical components that would meet and exceed FDA approval requirements. This work also required Joe to work hand in hand with our medical OEM customer's engineering and quality resources, something that Joe did seamlessly and was another key element to his successes. Joe has a deep and solid understanding of process control and process capability, as one can imagine is integral in being able to produce medical components to the stringent FDA requirements. Bottom line is Joe always delivered. Should the opportunity present itself I would look to engage Joe as the lead Product Engineer as my first choice at building a product development Team.

I had the pleasure of working with Joe for 16 years at Laserage. We both began our careers as Laser Technicians and both moved up in the company, albeit different areas. Joe was an integral part of my training as a Technician as he was there for a few years before I started my career there. As we grew into our different roles, Joe as an Engineer and myself as an Inside Sales rep, we continued to collaborate together on multiple projects and he continued to show his exemplary knowledge for any technical issue or discussion that arose. His work ethic and technical expertise never wavered throughout his time working with me. It was a pleasure to work with Joe and we also would interact socially and he was entertaining to be around both in and out of the office. Joe will be a strong asset to any company that has the privilege to hire him and they will see the benefits of his hard work right out of the gate.

I am a problem solver. Self driven, meticulous, and focused on big picture results. I drive projects from the start through open dialog with customers by offering solutions for manufacturability. I perform prototype development, create fixtures and fixture concepts, and build processes for successful validation efforts. I am frequently selected to take on the most challenging and high profile projects due to my proven capabilities and successes. My feeling is that they also provide the best opportunities to grow my knowledge. I am a resource to other Engineers even those exceeding my years of experience. With a deep understanding of laser welding and cutting, and many other highly technical competencies, results often come more quickly than expected.I effectively communicate with others at all levels of my organization. I work closely with Engineers, Technicians, and production personnel.I have developed multiple projects at a time for some of the largest and most well known medical device OEMs.
