Working mostly remotely. Most of my time is spent augmenting the team of a UK-based client. I work on their multi-tenant E-commerce solution, as well as their dashboard, adding new features and fixing bugs. I have also contributed to development on a new service that gives customers access to digital content. - Made use of a variety of languages and technologies such as .NET Core 3.1 and .NET 6, Razor, Bootstrap, EF Core, Dapper, SQL, Javascript (using jQuery) and Sass. - Utilized Azure technologies, such as Azure Functions, Blob Storage, and Application Insights. - Documented APIs built in Azure Functions using the Azure Functions OpenAPI Extension library. - Created / altered content definitions, and made frontend changes in the CMS (Orchard Core in headless mode). - Wrote unit tests using xUnit, Moq and FluentAssertions. - Migrated a large number of Azure Function Apps to .NET 6 from .NET Core 3.1, along with some refactoring. - Integrated with an external API in one of the Azure Function Apps. - Gained some DevOps experience through the use of Azure Pipelines and Octopus Deploy. - Git repos were used for source control. Repositories were hosted in Azure Devops, and I used Sourcetree to manage repositories locally. - Reviewed pull requests on Azure DevOps, making comments where necessary. - Made use of other tools, including SQL Server Management Studio, Jira, GraphQL, Postman and NuGet. - Gained a certification in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).
