  I write and take pictures for the quarterly Township publication, "The Monroe News," photograph and videotape Township events and plan special events. As the only person in the Division of Public Information, I work directly with all Township Departments to provide the most accurate information pertaining to the Township of Monroe to residents through, "The Monroe News," and by submitting stories and photos to local newspapers. I photograph and videotape nearly every Township event. The photographs are used in "The Monroe News," the Township website, www.monroetwp.com, and official municipal social media sites. They are also submitted to local newspapers for publication. I write, produce, direct, film and edit all of the videos for the Township television station - Channel 28 for Comcast subscribers. I also upload and help maintain the Township's streaming video site, http://monroetv.pegcentral.com. I also plan, organize, promote and run Township special events such as the Green Fair and Community Cares Thanksgiving.

  Worked for six years in the Garden Department before moving over to the paint Department to end my tenure at the company. I was in charge of ordering and maintaining live goods in garden, at several points becoming the highest grossing live goods department in the District. I was trained on the forklift, reach truck, electric pallet jack and order picker. Moved to paint for a new challenge and was able to learn the ins and outs of the department learning everything from the products to how to manipulate colors using the various tints.
