      When I first began at Orion I worked on several small projects at clients including UOP, and Huntsman that were steel or concrete retrofits/modifications to existing structures. Then I became a support engineer on a larger project at an oil refinery site. Work included equipment and pipe bridge foundations and steel access platforms and pipe supports (several large runs of pipe support bents and bridges). Starting fall of 2014 I became the lead structural engineer for a process restart at a pharmaceutical plant. The job includes addition of concrete support pads for equipment and steel access platforms inside the existing structure and a 2 story (3865sf) addition for new equipment. Between work on that large job, several smaller steel and concrete work jobs have been done at the same site. I restarted here April 2018 after 1.5yrs at Evonik.

      I am managing small projects including proposal, design, client interaction, team management, and issuing a final product (drawings, calculations, etc). In design, I use several codes including AISC, ACI, ASCE 7, and others for reference with proficiency. For analysis, I use RAM Elements and several other excel (or excel based) "canned" programs either created by other professionals or myself (all verified). Also, I'm regularly in AutoCad either checking structural drawings or using other discipline drawings for reference in design.
