  During my time as an environmental project management intern with Capitol Environmental Services, I gained valuable experience in project management and operations, which I believe are highly transferable to my future career goals. I worked on a variety of hazardous materials management projects, where I was responsible for tracking project progress, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. In this role, I developed strong skills in project planning and execution, as well as in risk assessment and mitigation. I also gained experience in stakeholder engagement and communication, as I regularly interacted with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure that projects were completed on time and within budget. Overall, my time as an environmental project management intern has given me a solid foundation of transferrable skills that I believe will serve me well in my future career.
