      My primary responsibility was ensuring accurate and on time aluminum extrusion die designs. I also performed other tasks. I checked the profile prints for accuracy and completeness and when necessary I recommended changes to the profile print to improve its extrudability. I worked with die correctors to help increase press extrusion speeds and solve die performance issues. I provided the die correctors with correction options for problematic dies. I furnished blueprints showing exact design revisions and corrections needed to improve die performance. I created models of dies using Siemens NX (formerly Unigraphics) for manufacturing and review by extrusion managers. I have been trained on Norsk Hydro's "Flex Flow" and "Triple Pocket" design software. Show less
