I handled day to day irrigation operations at our corporate office in Dover and Worked closely with the irrigation managers and supervisors at each of our other locations throughout the state, to resolve issues with policies, procedures, staffing, troubleshooting, parts, equipment and special training. Part of my duties were restructuring the entire companies irrigation department to increase sales, revenue, efficiency and productivity. This allowed us to offer our customers the best service possible. LMP is known as a detail company that also mows grass, but I would also like LMP to be known as having the best irrigation department in the state. A department that looks out for their customer's investments and has the most highly trained staff in the industry.

In the begining at Cornerstone I started at the Bradenton, Saraota branch as an Irrigation Technician handling all of their accounts by myself with no Irrigation Dept established for the branch yet. From that point forward I built the necessary structure and brought the Irrigation Dept up to a level that allowed me to become Irrigation Manager with several Irrigation Techs under my direction. Profits increased from $65,000.00 my first year there to right at $200,000.00 by my third year. I set a new pace for them by establishing better vender pricing, better training and by creating the only fully functional electronic field reporting system in quickbooks for irrigation technicians throughout the company. This improved the reporting/billing process and enabled more reports to be generated for tracking; material costs, individual sales, and more, making the Sarasota branch their most efficient and most profitable irrigation division throughout all of Cornerstone. I also assisted the Sarasota branch by performing numerous administrative duties necessary for operations prior to hiring a fulltime Admin. I also helped by filling in part time as an Account Manager until we were able to hire full time Account Managers. I helped train branch employees in newer software programs. I worked closely with the Branch and Regional Manager on large projects, bids and takeoffs. I worked with multiple home builders,City,County and other government departments coordinating and installing irrigation systems and repairing other previously installed systems. While at Cornerstone I was recognized by the Toro Company and awarded the Water Smart Partner award for seeking after and using their water smart products to help conserve water. I worked closely with South West Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) on conservation and water use permit issues for various properties creating special variances to better fit each properties needs.
