As staffing and HR Deputy Principal there was the requirement to also assist the principal with staff performance intervention.Student management for a range of year levels. - This often needed high level communication skills and strategies to build powerful relationships with parents who often did not have prior positive educational experiences. - Conflict resolution and conflict management skills were essential in working with parents who were agitated or elevated and reframing and moving conversations towards win / win situations focused on student engagement and outcomes.Timetabling. - Working with a complex set of resources and limitations developing a timetable for school year. This would require engagement with the Teaching industrial instruments to ensure that the allocation of duties did not violate employment agreements.
