I worked closely with Joe for about five years at Rotary International. We worked together on the launch of a new grant model for the foundation and the development of a centralized team focusing on strategy and enterprise-wide projects. Joe is a collaborative and strong leader. He successfully took on several large-scale projects, working effectively with a multitude of stakeholders, including board members, major donors, partners and staff. In his role managing the transformation of Rotary’s grant model, Joe led and advised teams on programmatic strategies, fundraising, communications, and technology. As Chief Strategy Officer, he brought structure, innovation and data-driven decision making to the strategic functions of the organization. He was always passionate about Rotary’s mission, especially supporting communities around the world. Joe is well-versed in board governance, advocacy, and change management. He has been a mentor to me and is wonderful to work with, always willing to take on new challenges and be supportive of others.
