  I joined Cundall in Manchester as a placement student in July 2013. Following a successful year, I was offered a role as a Graduate Engineer upon completion of my Undergraduate Degree. I moved to the Melbourne office in February 2019. I have gained experience in a wide range of market sectors and have led multi-disciplinary teams in the design and delivery of a variety of Building Services projects.My role included:- Managing Engineering projects and personnel to achieve and exceed the client's expectations on time and on budget. - Producing Engineering designs, calculations and specifications using the appropriate software such as Camel, Bluebeam and Revit / AutoCAD. - Preparing technical reports, drawings and specifications in accordance with the client’s brief. - Attending and participating in internal and external project meetings. - Undertaking site visits to monitor the progress of works against the specification, highlighting issues to the relevant parties. - Corresponding with external third parties (clients, contractors, architects, manufacturers etc.) regarding information and technical queries. - Delegating work to technicians and Engineers as required, checking the output of the work and providing feedback. - Maintaining an awareness of the performance of projects against agreed project plans and budgets, and reporting to the relevant Associate on the performance of projects against agreed project plans. - Providing training, mentoring and coaching of less experienced staff. - Complying with project management, operational (QA), environmental and health and safety procedures. - Proactively managing my own contribution to professional development (attending CPD sessions, external seminars, participating in quarterly reviews to pursue Chartership etc.) - Partaking in business development activities, writing fee proposals and variation letters. - Carrying out the above whilst complying with the company's core values.
