CarterBaldwin is a leading international retained executive search firm. Focused on being better vs. big, we out-research, out-recruit and out-hustle our large competitors. Although our clients are a diverse set of some of the largest and most admired businesses, universities and non-profit institutions around the globe, they are united by a common characteristic … they have moved away from large, encumbered, old school search firms … opting instead for our more reliable and performance driven search model. Large enough to bring significant resources, muscle and international reach but small enough to build intimate, long term client partnerships, CarterBaldwin is a bright, fresh alternative in an industry cluttered with dated, impersonal search models. CarterBaldwin is "Search Done Better".

Headmaster
-
Jun 2018 - May 2021
As Headmaster, I supply strategic leadership to the school community by carrying out the mission to prepare students for college, life, and eternity. I establish long-range goals with Board of Trustees and high-level management to ensure long-term financial stability of the school. I create a culture of giving through the planning, developing, organizing, implementation, evaluation, and execution of strategic plans to change the old paradigm. I design evaluation tools for faculty to measure student development, outline disciplinary guidelines, and provide formal job descriptions. I collaborate with leadership, faculty, and admissions to provide students the opportunity to reach their full potential. I develop and assess 10-15 year master plan addressing facility and classroom improvements, as well as performing arts. I initiate, implement, and provide improvements of Rigor and Scope as a leader for the Distant Learning Program. • Raised $1.2M over three years in both designated and undesignated gifts. A considerable amount of that money was raised from donors who had not given to the school for years. Relationships! Gala's-Comedy Nights-Bear Bash's, etc. • Launched new Program of Review and executed internal policies by creating and updating student/faculty handbooks and process improvements throughout financial aid, accounts receivable, and re-enrollment. • Diversified revenue streams (outside tuition) through the creation of multiple summer camp programs, advertising efforts, and sports camps.
