Running a flock of pedigree Park Type North Country Cheviot Sheep and Texel x North Country Cheviot Sheep running on rented grazing. Lambing outdoors around Easter each year, with a focus on assisting the Landlords with their desire to improve the biodiversity of the ground. Ewes and lambs run year round on varied grazing with no concentrates other than mineral blocks in the run up to lambing, aiming to deliver a high quality product with a deep flavour to customers buying butchered lambs. Also running a smaller pedigree Oxford Down flock, lambing indoors in January / February. Pleased to be contributing to a Breeders Society dedicated to maintaining the integrity of the breed and promoting it as a terminal sire. Show less
