I worked with Joe on the VivaNext BRT Projects, Joe and his team were not a typical Subcontractor- they offered innovative solutions for aesthetic poles and pole base covers which the client had envisioned and eventually approved. Without Joe that would not have happened. I have a lot of respect for Joe as he brings the right skills to the table- problem solving, innovative thinking, collaboration etc.

There were times when I thought Joe was the only capable person at the Valmont Industries/West Coast Engineering offices in Ontario. As a sales manager, I thought he handled customers well, continued to feed sales to a sputtering business, and handled many customer complaints. His overall business acumen is strong, and he's the kind of manager that higher level executives can depend upon do say what he'll do, and do what he says.
