We worked hard because football is fun, and we valued working out the relationship between ourselves & success within the most competitive athletic environment.We were 2013 State Semi-Finalists (AAAAAA). In 5 seasons I coached 8 team captains, 6 all-conference, 8 honorable mention, 1 team defensive MVP, and 3 team most improved players.I set the tone and style of defensive back play: confident, aggressive, poised, fundamental football. That began by demanding, through practice, our DB's be the surest tacklers in the conference. In man our DB's learned to meet, level and disrupt routes (Catch-Man Technique). We employed aggressive, pattern-read schemes within all of our zone coverages.I was responsible for assisting our defensive coordinator in developing pass coverages, secondary run fits, game plans and in-game calls.
