Kitchen Porter
-
Nov 2022 - Aug 2023
I was on an 8 hour contract at the Newt as a kitchen porter. I worked every Sunday from 7am -3:30pm. I had a lot of responsibilities including washing up, helping with food preparation for either lunch or breakfast. Additionally, I was tasked with cleaning the whole kitchen area and also organising the whole kitchen food area and making sure it is hygienic for the chefs within the kitchen. Work Experience
-
Jul 2023 - Jul 2023
In July 2023, I completed a 3 day work experience where I went around all the different departments and learned how they operated. I gained much experience and vital skills. These departments included Marketing, Human resources, Tech Support, IoT and Billing. It was an amazing experience and I will use the skills and knowledge I learnt in future career opportunities. Gardening assistant

Voluntary Community Service I worked at Sexey’s hospital every friday as part of a community service scheme at King’s Bruton. We did a range of gardening activities and I did it with 3 other people. I had to do lots of work within the hour and I learnt a lot of new skills along the way. We did a variety of things such as fitting a gazebo, cutting hedges, planting bulbs and having an organised structure to the way I work. From this, I learnt a variety of skills and was taught many things I could use in later life. Show less
