The structure stood at 35m high by 14m wide, the Air Heaters positioned above each other at 3 separate levels, a 280t crawler crane was utilised for the removal of the units weighing approximately 58t and damaged surrounding/supporting structures. The scope of work was executed safely with incident free and ahead of schedule and under budget. Responsibilities: • Daily coordination of demolition work scopes. • Development of detailed heavy lift studies and safely executed. • Conducted scope of work risk assessment and development of detailed SWMS. • Coordination of logistics for the project. • Constant monitoring and involvement with work crews to ensure tasks were completed safely and adhered to the rigorous sequence of the SWMS. • Attendance to client meetings mitigating contractor interface. • Recording of accurate weekly progress reports.

Assembly of the Canter-Lever Bridge for piling of the PNG LNG Jetty with associated dolphins, platforms, and offshore loading platforms. The CLB was a large structure that had provision to unload large piles with two gantry cranes and a 250t crawler crane modified by replacing the crawler tracks to bogies that would travel on rails for picking up the piles and position in the piling template. Once piles completed at each chainage, headstocks and two super T beams would be installed. The CLB would then winch itself cantilevering 24 meters span and the hydraulic spud legs would then be operated to support itself from the bottom of seabed. Responsibilities: • Responsible scope of work was to construct 2.4 km LNG jetty and loading platform. • Supervised the erection of the CLB (Canter Lever Bridge) at Port Moresby site. • Reviewing and developing SWMS, JHA’s and development of detailed heavy lift studies. • Managed the improvement works to the CLB for the safety of the crew and to be in line with the Australian Standards. • Supervised and safely trained a crew to operate the CLB with associated task including the hydraulic move of the CLB, operation of jacking spud legs and pre-tensioning, pile template operation, lifting and installing the hammer onto piles, operation of the hammer, installation of headstocks, installation of per-cast beams (Super T’s) and assisting the completion of civil works with finishing bridge. • Daily coordination of CLB work activities and laydown yard personnel. • Sequencing and timing of jetty materials to be delivered to the CLB for installation. • Coordination of loading required piles onto work barges at Port Moresby main port to the offshore platforms. • Managed crane and rigging crews at four different site locations i.e., CLB pilling site, CLB onshore laydown yard, Main Ports site laydown yard and offshore platforms. Continually ensuring all work fronts were conducted in a safe and productive manner.
