This pilot has since been integrated into the Better at Home program and each of the four First Nations now have continuous dollars to their Better at Home programs. Better at Home program has evolved to accommodate First Nations culture and values into its service delivery model and an exclusive First Nations evaluation of the program is currently in progress. •Coordinated lunch and learns, participate in community events (walk for reconciliation, Aboriginal Day celebrations etc), and traditional teachings and ceremonies for United Way Staff to support the understand of the legacy of residential schools and the impact it has had on the Indigenous people of Canada. •Identified new initiatives and funding opportunities under the direction of the Director, coordinated the distribution, monitoring, and reporting of funding programs and ensured the effective management of grants. •Led agency discussions and negotiations, and served as a point of contact for agency inquiries
