In this position I was responsible for coordinating and facilitating a number of events, workshops and programs to provide psychosocial support to, and awareness of Young Carers. I managed and worked alongside a team of volunteers to provide social events and camps for youth aged 8 to 12; worked in partnership with internal colleagues as well as schools and organisations to provide opportunities for and raise awareness of young carers; I also raised awareness of young carers through various public speaking engagements.
