Over the years, Casual Films has produced over 15,000 films for some of the worlds largest, most challenging and exciting companies. We've grown to include nine offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Melbourne, Sydney, Barcelona and Hong Kong. We still try to stay true to our core ethos: working with great people, producing great films and making our clients happy by surpassing their expectations. Casual's first commission, back in 2006, was travel video blogs for Expedia with a couple of camcorders and a laptop. Despite this being the early days for online video, we realised that traditional methods for making business films were too time consuming and expensive for the digital world. We started pitching our lightweight, high quality approach to other brands. Our work won Best Work at the Recruitment Advertising Awards in both 2009 and 2011 - the premier event in the industry. That saw the company take a big leap into the world of recruitment marketing and employee comms - a world we've made our home. Show less

I help match UK business owners who feel they may be over-paying unfair commercial property rates with a specialist rating surveyor who can assess your current business rate valuation and where appropriate appeal it for a reduction and refund. Why would you want to bother with an assessment? The Government introduced legislation in 2019 to allow revaluations every 3 years, the last one was in 2021 - if you're paying a business rate liability then it's important you check the revaluation was correct otherwise you're over-paying and will continue to do so until the revaluation is appealed. Can you leave it until later? Each time there is a business rate revaluation you lose the opportunity to get a rebate from your previous revaluation - the sooner you do it, the sooner you correct it and the less you pay. The next revaluation is just over 6 months away How does it work? Ask me about our complimentary assessment service and I will put you in touch with a specialist rating surveyor today. Can you do it yourself? Yes, you can research how rates are revalued and then check your own property to make sure your own revaluation has been done correctly - if you feel it is incorrect then there is a process to follow: 1) Register for a business rates valuation account with the VOA. 2) Add a property to your account. 3) Send a 'Check case' to tell the VOA your property details are correct or make a change to them. provide evidence to support your changes. 4) Send the VOA a 'Challenge case' if you think your rateable value is too high, explain what you think it should be and provide evidence. 5) Appeal the decision by asking the independent Valuation Tribunal for a review. Why use Get Your Rates Right? To challenge your rates you will need a Surveyor. Get Your Rates Right provide you with a Specialist Rating Surveyors and combine this with a leading property intelligence database allowing them to maximise your savings. Show less
