      Creativeworks London is one of four major AHRC (Arts and Humanities Research Council) funded Knowledge Exchange hubs in the UK. It is being established to help bring together the capital’s cultural and creative industries with its research community to develop unique collaborations that will in turn make vital contributions and innovations to London’s creative economy. The project is shaped by three main themes which are: Digital Economy, Audiences and London: Place-Work-Knowledge. Creativeworks London is a network of 38 partners led by Queen Mary, University of London and The Culture Capital Exchange.

      Metropolitan Works is London’s leading Creative Industries Centre, run by London Metropolitan University. Metropolitan Works provides start-up and micro business support programmes through Government funded projects. It is internationally recognised as a centre of excellence for design and production committed to promoting London as a global centre for design innovation. Led the team managing multiple projects for Metropolitan Works, overseeing strategic delivery, intervention monitoring and financial reporting to both University board and funders. Bid writing and internal reporting systems design as well as identifying opportunities for the projects to expand.Delivering the LDA (London Development Agency) Furniture Manufacturing Sub Sector Support Programme from 2006 – 2008 in collaboration with City Fringe Partnership.Management of the ISOS Collection a collaborative project between London furniture designers and manufacturers to develop commercial products for market, diversifying their current market focus.Contributed to the writing and winning of a £1.6m ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) grant which gave creative businesses an introduction to digital design and manufacturing technologies. Managed project negotiations and full delivery.

      Hidden Art is an award winning not-for-profit membership organisation that helps designer-makers and designers transform their passion into products. This is done through promoting and supporting members to place their products both nationally and internationally through multiple routes.Responsibility for the Hidden Art Design Brokerage project, aimed to initiate new collaborations between designer-makers and clients. Formulation and delivery of the business and marketing plans, insuring after funding completion the project could continue to run in a commercially viable form.Successfully worked on a number of new product development briefs with Heals, BBH (on behalf of Diageo), the Big Chill music festival, CTO lighting and Finlandia Vodka.Developed the Heals Discovers project alongside their Design Director. Heal's Discovers went on to become an annual exclusive collection of inspired designs by students, graduates and innovative pieces from more established designers.Development and implementation of a second tier of membership based on the services of the design brokerage, creating another income stream for the company.

Made in London are a specialist lobbying and business support group for London based manufacturers.Project management responsibility for the Marketing and PR strand of Made in Londons £13m SRB6 (Single Regeneration Budget) promoting and defending the interests of its members, representing London business to the Mayor and the GLA, national government, the opposition, international audiences and the media.Copywriting, compiling and editing two magazines, Capital Goods and Capital Ventures with distribution to over 15,000 London based businesses and decision makers.Project management of the annual fundraising dinner for Made in London at locations such as Painters Hall, the Cabinet War Rooms and the Grosvenor.Organisation of the successful lobbying campaign, Get London Moving, in response to the proposition of the Congestion Charge, the outcome was extensive consultation of London business before the planned charge was put into place.Relationship building to secure £120k worth of private sector match funding from Royal Bank of Scotland, the London Manufacturing Advisory service and Trade Partners UK.
