Direct the performance and tasks of two cash management Treasury leads and two cash management specialists. Establish daily cash position for the organization, executing fund movement transitions and managing bank balances. Report cash operations activities, execute investment transactions, and implement cash management initiatives. Ensure all accounting data is processed in a timely and accurate manner. Meticulously prepare monthly adjusting and closing entries, financial statements and general ledger account analysis. Designed Shari’s in-house cash management and Treasury workstation systems, and prepare personal property and sales tax returns in addition to auditing weekly lottery reports for all 45 Oregon locations. Served on the implementation team for PeopleSoft (Oracle), partnering with a PeopleSoft consultant for implementation in Coco’s and Carrows, and worked on the Honor Card Loyalty implementation team for 100 locations. Collaborate with external auditors for interim and year-end audits. Created, implemented and trained within BOH accounting systems RAS and Data Central/Restaurant Magic. Served on the gift card implementation team for 100 Shari’s locations, and collaborated within the credit card signature Capture Advisory Board in addition to the Lottery Ddvisory Board to introduce Shari’s Oregon locations to video poker and traditional lottery, ensuring regulatory compliance in all operations. Saved the company $145K per year by engaging in a cost analysis of credit card discounts.
