My love of Digital Marketing began in Melbourne while managing my client's online advertising campaigns, as my knowledge and expertise of the mediums grew, so did my passion for exciting, engaging strategies that really gave brands a voice. Fueled by the potential I saw for local businesses to create communities around their products, venues and services I started Bump Media and began setting up, managing, monitoring and growing social media accounts for a range of clients. From small, community, not-for-profit Facebook Pages to massive multi-platform Tourism campaigns, I never stop marveling at the power of social media and love that the industry is constantly changing, ready to take client's digital marketing efforts to new heights in new ways. Support Your Local Police (SYLP) was founded by myself and Joshua McEwen, a former WA Police Officer, as a way to encourage and communicate the community's appreciation to the men and women of law enforcement for their commitment, dedication and service. From it's inception in November 2014 our community of supporters grew quickly and steadily and we launched a series of successful campaigns including a Facebook Page with over 7,700 fans in it's first 6 months, a 2015 Calendar featuring photos from fans which we designed, printed and sold to raise money for charity, and a Crowdfunding Campaign which raised $2,875 to fund our transition into a Not For Profit organisation. • Social Media Queen
      • Apr 2011 - May 2013

My job title of Social Media Queen was affectionately coined in jest when I first started at Alyka and somehow ended up on my business card, along with a tangram of a butterfly to symbolise my social nature (each of our tangrams are unique). When I first started working alongside Alyka in 2010 I loved that they had company culture down pat. A Playstation in the boardroom and foosball table out the back - these guys know how to work hard and play hard. Over the past two years, in between foosball tournaments and Christmas parties in Margaret River, I've had the opportunity to work on some really amazing client accounts and met some really wonderful people. Moving back to Perth from Melbourne in April 2010 I took a part-time position as Online Communications Coordinator at Novotel Vines Resort. I drank copious amounts of tea and ate a lot of miniature cupcakes (thanks Stevie) during my time at The Vines while updating their website, designing and sending Newsletters, setting up and managing a range of social media platforms, assisting offline marketing efforts and anything else my wonderful Marketing Manager required of me. The place it all began... I started at Hard Hat in April '09 as a Receptionist. I left a year later with more experience, knowledge, street skills and digital know-how than if I'd completed a 5 year University degree. With the best mentors in Melbourne, actually probably Australia, actually probably the world, I grew to reach and exceed every one of my goals and expectations (and hopefully theirs) laying out a path of both excitement and confidence in my digital future. Hard Hat continues today to lead the way in online solutions, working with some of the biggest brands in Australia and revolutionising the way digital is done. Show less
