Being able to experience first hand the problems that many children, parents, and communities face made me want to jump into the social work field and begin helping individuals one by one. Making reports to DSS, taking files down to the court house for immediate assistance, and speaking to children individually about on going issue and problems at home, forever shaped the woman I am today and inspired the woman I hope to be in the future.
