Joaquin was an outstanding colleague in managing academic programs in residential colleges at the University of Melbourne. Energetic, responsive, and team-minded, Joaquin was always the person I knew would have an answer or a solution if I ever reached out for collaboration.

Ishita Akhter, PhD

Joaquin is the kind of person that will give you his time and attention even when he has no obligation. If he can do something to help you succeed, you can be sure he will do it with gusto. I have met him multiple times after joining Trinity College as an Academic Advisor which was his position essentially just before, and he had been kind enough to mentor me through the nuances of the role very very well. Highly recommend him for his amazing abilities within an appropriate academic work environment!
