  I performed 2D and 3D CAD using Solidworks based on existing parts and acted as a mechanical designer altering the design of COTS parts and assemblies based on customer needs.   NESSIE: Neutrally-Buoyant Elevated System for Satellite Imaging and Evaluation. In a team of 12, we designed and produced a scaled version of a neutrally-buoyant airship to carry an optical payload above cloud coverage. I acted as technical lead for the aerodynamics and structures of the vehicle performing most of the mechanical design of the parts and the FEM and CFD simulations.
