Joanne and I have had the opportunity to work together in a previous corporate environment. Joanne’s integrity and values is what interested me when deciding to work along side her as a business partner. She is dedicated, sets goals and plans that see her achieve results and loves sharing her knowledge. Her passion for growth and improvement along with her solid values is definitely a bonus for her clients and colleagues.

Handling all the usual stuff in an office management role as well as reporting and assisting production with analysis and admin. I am one of those people who enjoys working. I like the buzz and banter of a good office environment and I got lucky when I found this job. It's local and since Covid 19 I am now enjoying the work life balance splitting my time between the office and home. I have worked for a few organisations and this one is up there as one of my all time favourites. I came across this role quite by accident. My niece had started her own business and I was intrigued and nosey. I saw the benefits she was getting from some fabulous aloe vera based products and I wanted a discount! So I started my own business with the company. I work part time in my office job, I blog, I'm a mum to a teenager and I fit this into the pockets of time I have left during each day. If I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't do it! I'm not a 'sales' person but you don't have to be. I am the least pushy person you'll meet in your life. I also don't buy into 'get rich quick' schemes. I know to achieve success in this type of business, it requires consistency and hard work. The system is simple but not easy. It can be challenging, but also fun and rewarding. One of the things I love most is the culture - a group of amazing entrepreneurs, some just enjoying the products, some making some extra money for little luxuries, and some making serious life changing income. Everyone is different and everyone is welcome. And there are no stupid questions and lots of guidance. With teams in over 160 countries everyone is welcome. If you think it sounds of interest, get in touch and we can see if it is a fit for you.

It actually started before I turned 50 but life changed. Firstly I had a career change, not of my own choosing but there it was. Physically I was going through many changes and emotionally I was LOST. After researching and seeking out resources and articles and over countless wines and coffees with friends my age, I realised there was room for more. How about a resource where I share my own experiences and what I am learning along the way? Fearless and Fifty the blog, was born. That wasn't enough, I wanted to chat to my readers. As a facebook expert I set up a community. It hasn't been as consistent as I'd like, and I'm changing that as of now. So if you want information and laughs as well as a safe community where you can share and learn, hop on over to Facebook and look for the Fearless and Fifty Tribe. I can't wait to meet you!

My love of triathlon opened up lots of doors, none wider than a chance encounter with Chris McCormack. I joined his team as soon as it began and I wanted to help, and so I did! Soon I found myself with media passes to the biggest races not least the Ironman World Champs in Kona. I am honoured to have had this opportunity and cherish the relationships with so many of the team as well as professional triathletes. The connection with Macca also led me to co-author a book, The Macca Model.

Since the age of 19 I've been involved in the world of planning, both in retail and wholesale. Working for Salco and Ransal in the beautiful suburb of Carlton is an experience I loved. I made some amazing friends there and got to know my way around mens accessories as a wholesale planner. I was sad when the role came to an end but I look back fondly. I worked for Mitre 10 pretty much as I stepped off the plane in Melbourne in 2003. I was there in the import housewares department up until I had my daughter in 2005 and I returned in 2008. Mitre 10 is a unique organisation. It's hardware so was very different from the luxury world of cosmetics that I had come from in the UK. But my knowledge and experience worked well across any category. Managing inventory, budgets, planning and promotions the job was never dull!
