Fundraising and Communications Manager
-
Mar 2019 - May 2020
During my time with Galway RCC, I developed a sustainable and successful fundraising department for the organisation. A 3-year Fundraising Strategy, as well as an accompanying Marketing and Communications Strategy were developed in order to support the organisation's overall Organisational Strategy. Policies pertaining to fundraising, marketing, and communications were drafted and implemented across the organisation, creating a culture of fundraising therein.Set fundraising targets were reached by creating a diverse fundraising portfolio comprising of Corporate Partnerships, Sponsorships; an Individual Giving programme, as well as Trusts and Foundations, and Community Fundraising. The charity's profile was increased locally, regionally, and nationally as a result of strategic branding, planning, institutional marketing, and the commitment of high-profile ambassadors.

I was responsible for the development and implementation of the charity's first ever Legacy Giving campaign, and together with the team, managed and executed fundraising events and campaigns. The development and implementation of new event concepts and campaigns were also central aspects of my role. In addition, I managed the charity's external communications and social media platforms.
