GAVS exists to provide a strategic leadership role in representing and building the capacity of the voluntary and community sector in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. As part of my role, I am responsible for updating GAVS’ database so that it can populate the Greenwich Community Directory, and more easily identify community assets that improve local health and wellbeing. I also provides administrative support to the Safeguarding Service User Involvement Project. I was an honorary research assistant for the Parent-Infant Psychotherapy Project Randomised Controlled Trial (PIP RCT) at the Anna Freud Centre. My role was to assist the management of PIP RCT in supporting data management. My responsibilities included transcribing interviews, updating large databases and general project organisation. I have gained awareness of mental health issues and gained experience working in a multi-disciplinary team.
